Populate one fillable PDF for every CSV row
Use a header row to describe values, map those headers to an existing PDF's fields, and generate a separate named PDF for each data row. Processing happens in browser memory.
The tool reads field names and CSV structure, then lets you fill and download the first row free.
Test my PDF and CSV →Supported field behavior
| PDF field | CSV value | Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Text | Any renderable text | Replaces the field value. |
| Checkbox | yes/no, true/false, 1/0, on/off, checked/unchecked, x | Case-insensitive; blank is unchecked. |
| Radio group | One available option | Must match an option, ignoring case only when unambiguous. |
| Dropdown | One available option | Invalid options stop that row instead of guessing. |
| Option list | One or more values separated by | | Every value must be available. |
CSV quoting matters
A value containing a comma, double quote, or line break must be quoted. A double quote inside a quoted value is doubled.
Duplicate headers are rejected
Many CSV parsers silently overwrite one duplicate column with another. FormBatch rejects duplicate normalized headers so no row is filled from ambiguous data.
Output names are data too
A recipe such as {Full Name}-{Employee ID} creates useful filenames. Characters forbidden by common operating systems are replaced, reserved names are prefixed, and collisions receive numeric suffixes.
